There are many ways you can support your community. Austin Associates, P.A. chooses to support sustainable agriculture by providing local farms/farmers with the accounting and tax law tools they need to be successful. Our involvement with the Good Food Council started essentially at the roots. It was our Managing Partner, Phil Doucette, along with a handful of other driven passionate community members that worked hard to make the Good Food Council of Lewiston Auburn what it is today. Over the years, our firm has supported the Council’s initiatives by sharing our knowledge of good food, securing sponsorships, allocating donations, encouraging other staff to join the council and most recently by signing and adopting the values of the L-A Community Food Charter – branding our firm a Food Charter Champion.
