Our Mission: Through education, advocacy, and community-based decision-making we work to shape a food system where our entire community of Lewiston-Auburn has access to good food.
How We Make Change:
We create and support improvements to the food system of the greater Lewiston-Auburn Maine community through…
• Fostering collaboration within and between sectors
• Identifying and working to address gaps
• Providing non-partisan research and educational resources in matters of public policy
• Raising awareness of and support for local programs and businesses
• Responding to emerging community needs and opportunities
Auburn Farm and Forest Tours 2026!
On October 17th from 10-2pm is the annual Auburn Farm and Forest Tour and the farmers are so excited to open it up to the public!
If you are curious about your local farms and want to see how they function and meet your farmers we greatly suggest taking part in the tour! Each of the farms will have stickers to fill out a passport so make sure to stop by and chat with your farmers.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
