DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to join us for a fun\, family-friendly evening under the stars to celebrate the efforts of some incredible Androscoggin County-based youth! \nPlease join us and our presenting sponsors\, Bangor Savings Bank\, Rinck Advertising\, and St. Mary’s Nutrition Center\, as we present the winners of the 2022 Youth Food Charter Champion Awards on Tuesday\, August 2nd\, at 7:40pm\, outdoors at Lewiston Middle School. \nThe presentation will take place during the – free and open to the public – Summer Fun & Film Series movie\, activity\, and vendor night organized by the Lewiston Police Department. The Awards Presentation will begin at 7:40pm (full schedule below). \nAll are welcome.  Also\, in addition to family and friends\, bringing your own blanket/chairs\, and refreshments for movie watching is encouraged. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n6:00pm – Family Friendly Activities & Vendors\n7:40pm – Awards Presentation\n8:00pm – Movie (Disney & Pixar’s “Luca”)\n\n\n\n\n\nWe would also like to thank Austin Associates for their featured sponsorship of this event\, Boba and Flagship Cinemas for their contributions to the prizes packages for winners\, and the Lewiston PD for their partnership for the awards presentation. \nThe rain date is 8/17 at Pettingill Park\, Lewiston.

DESCRIPTION:Please join us and our presenting sponsor Bangor Savings Bank\, as we present the winners of the 2021 Food Charter Champion Awards on Tuesday\, August 3rd\, at 7:30pm\, outdoors at the Lewiston Middle School ball field. \nThe presentation will take place during the Summer Fun & Film Series movie\, activity\, and vendor night. This will be a free\, outdoor movie and activity series organized by the Lewiston Police Department. There will be family-friendly activities and vendors that start at 6pm\, and the movie (2019 Lion King) will start when it gets dark\, around 8pm. The Food Charter Champion Awards Presentation will begin around 7:30pm before the movie. \nThe Good Food Council of LA is excited to highlight the work and dedication of  5 winners to improving our local food system.
